Football squares generator
Fill the board, draw random numbers anyone can check, enter the scores and see who wins what. Free, no account, runs in your browser.
From blank grid to paid-out winners
Paste your list of names and press Fill the board, or type straight into the squares. Draw the numbers when the last square is sold. After each quarter, type the two scores; the winning square lights up with the name and the prize next to it.
The draw is a seeded shuffle of 0 to 9 for each side. The draw code and the time are printed on the board and on the PDF, so the numbers can be checked later by anyone who has the code.
Three board sizes
The classic board has 100 squares with one digit per row and column. The 50-square board keeps ten columns and uses five rows of two digits each. The 25-square board uses five rows and five columns, two digits each, which suits a small office or a family table: with a 25-square board, every square covers four score combinations, so winners come up often.
Before you print
The PDF is one landscape page on US Letter or A4 with the grid, the numbers, a rules box and the prize table. Long names shrink to fit their square. Printing straight from the browser works too.

Questions
Is the generator free?
Yes. Boards of 100, 50 or 25 squares, random numbers, winners, the payout calculator, share links, printing and a black and white PDF are free. Free PDFs carry one small “Made free at Football Squares” line. The Fundraiser Board ($4.99, one time) adds colour, your own title, the fundraiser box and a sign-up sheet.
How do I know the numbers were not rigged?
Each draw has a draw code, such as K7QX-92MD, and a time stamp. The code is the seed of the shuffle, so entering it again gives exactly the same numbers. Post the code in your group chat before the game; anyone can check it with the “Check a draw code” box.
When should I draw the numbers?
After every square is sold. Drawing earlier lets people pick squares knowing the numbers, which is the one thing the random draw is there to prevent. Lock the board after the draw so nothing can change.
How does the share link work?
The whole board is packed into the part of the web address after the “#”. Whoever opens it sees the same board, read-only. Change a name and you must copy a new link, because the old link keeps the old board.
Can I use my own team names?
Yes. Type any label for the team across the top and the team down the side. The defaults are “Away” and “Home”.
Do I need an account?
No. The board runs in your web browser. Names stay on your device unless you copy a share link, which holds the board inside the link itself and is not stored on a server.
